Tenant Requirements
Submission of rental application is absolutely voluntary, but a necessary part of our application process. We will submit your information to our screening provider. This screening process will conduct a routine credit check, a criminal background inquiry as well as an eviction history check.
The successful applicant must meet each of these criteria to rent with Low Country Homes:
- Must have verifiable income of at least 3 times the monthly rent. If more than one adult will be moving in, one must have an income of at least 3 times the rent, or combined income must be at least 3.5 times the rent.
- No violent criminal history or drug sales or trafficking convictions.
- No prior evictions filed against. No prior judgments or liens from previous landlords.
- Positive references from previous landlords, if applicable
- Credit history must show a tendency of paying bills on time.
